Art and Donors
CAPO has been richly supported by the Canberra region's arts community over the last twenty-seven years. In 2010 over 70 artists contributed works to the auction. This annual auction is in many ways a survey show of the range and skills of professional artists practising in the area. The works span a range of mediums and celebrate the diverse and vibrant cultural heart of the capital.
CAPO uses a set of guidelines to canvass, and then accept donations for the auction.
We seek work:
- from professional, working arts practitioners who are Canberra-based or affiliated;
- spanning a range of arts mediums;
- that meets museum/exhibition quality standards; and
- that is of interest to our CAPO patrons and auction audience.
