CAPO Updates

Well that's CAPO 28 done and dusted. Awards granted, artwork sold and last night's partygoers slowly recovering. Let's do it all again soon!

CAPO 28 AUCTION

This year's event, CAPO 28, took place on 26th November 2011 at the National Archives of Australia, and was a glamorous and fun evening featuring silent and live auctions accompanied by superb food, music and wine.

The annual CAPO exhibition is Canberra’s most significant annual survey of local, professional, contemporary artists, craft practitioners and designer makers.  Everyone is welcome and throughout the night you can bid for art, craft and services at all levels of value! The work is often very collectible and you can pick up some real bargains.

In 2011 the survey exhibition of professional artists from Canberra was on show to the public for a week prior to the CAPO 28 auction. This provided an opportunity to profile the artists and their work, increased the audience reach of this remarkable event, and offered patrons extended time to consider their potential purchases.

2011 CAPO Grants

2011 Grant winners were announced at CAPO 28. You can find out more details of grant winners on the Media Releases page.
